The first Oktoberfest in the region Chiriqui of Panama was held 2009.
I couldn´t believe what I found at my travel through Panama in the region Chiriqui. I found an original copy of the Oktoberfest in Germany. It took place at the amazing Las Lajas Beach (Playa Las Lajas) inside the El Mundo Bar (http://www.elmundobar.com ). The Owners are German and they told me that this was the first Oktoberfest in Chiriqui and they want to repeat it every year. They played German Party music and offered “Schweinebraten”, “Bretzel”, “Weisswürste” and as well original Oktoberfest Beer from Paulaner Munich and all visitors had a lot of fun . I was very impressed to find an Oktoberfest copy at this beautiful beach with the same spirit like in Germany. If I be around the Playa Las Lajas in the next years I will visit this Beach Front Oktoberfest again.

Das Erste Oktoberfest in der Region Chiriqui (Panama) wurde 2009 veranstaltet.
Ich konnte kaum glauben was ich bei meiner Reise durch Panama am Strand von Las Lajas (Playa Las Lajas) gefunden habe. Ich habe eine orginal Kopie des Deutschen Oktoberfestes gefunden. Es wurde am wunderschönen Strand von Las Lajas in der El Mundo Bar (http://www.elmundobar.com) veranstaltet. Die Besitzer sind Deutsche und Sie erzählten mir, dass dieses Oktoberfest das erste in Chiriqui ist und das sie es ab jetzt jedes Jahr wiederholen werden. Sie spielten Deutsche Oktoberfest Musik und zu Essen gabe es Schweinebraten, Bretzel, Weisswürste und zu trinken (wie könnte es anders sein) original Oktoberfest Bier von Paulaner und natürlich hatten alle eine menge Spaß. Es war wirklich sehr beeindruckend eine Oktoberfest Kopie an diesem geilen Strand mit fast der selben Stimmung wie in Deutschland zu finden. Falls ich in den nächsten Jahren wieder in der Nähe des Playa Las Lajas bin werde ich auf jedenfall wieder beim Meerblick Oktoberfest vorbeischauen.
